Daddy’s Little Girl

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using the art of VeryMany. You can purchase her tubes here.

PTU kit from BLT Dezignz called Thanks Dad. You can purchase this kit here.

Tag Template 503 by Divine Intentionz. You can find it here.

BigMask019 by Vix. You can find it here.

Two fonts of choice. One fancy & one basic. I am using Buffet Script & David.

Open your template. Set the canvas size to 800 x 585. Resize all layers by 81%. Delete the credits layer.

Merge together any duplicate layers with the originals.

Now replace your layers with the following:

Raster 11 – PP3
Raster 6 – PP18
Raster 4 – PP9
Raster 3 – PP6
Raster 5 – PP1
Raster 9 – PP8
Raster 2 – PP14
Raster 1 – PP20
Raster 7 – PP8
Raster 8 – PP8
Raster 10 – PP9

Open your mask & PP4. Paste your paper as a new layer above the background layer. Apply your mask, merge group.

Now lets add our elements:

Branch2 – resize by 50%, rotate right. Paste above the tie paper rectangle layer. Place to the right side. Duplicate, flip horizontal, & place to the left side. Merge the branches together.
Foliage – resize by 50%. Place to the upper left corner of the large square. Move this layer to the top. Duplicate, rotate right 180. Place to the lower right corner of the large square.
Scatter – resize by 60%. Paste as a new layer between the two foliage layers.
Branch4 – resize by 30%, flip vertical. Place to the lower left corner. Move this layer to the top.
Ribbon2 – resize by 40%. Place to the lower left corner.
Bottle – resize by 20%. Place to the bottom right.
Birdhouse – resize by 30%. Place to the upper right corner of the large square.
Flower4 – resize by 25%. Place to the top of the birdhouse.
Bow1 – resize by 50%, flip horizontal. Place over the flower.
Bird – resize by 15%, flip horizontal. Place to the upper right side of the birdhouse.
Ribbon1 – resize by 70%. Place to the bottom.
Books – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom right.
Pups – resize by 50%. Place to the left side of the books.
WordArt – resize by 40%. Place to the left side.

Copy & paste your tube, resizing slightly. Move this layer above the smaller square layer, arrange to your liking. On the green frame layer, use your magic wand & click inside the frame. Selections, modify, expand by 3. On the tube layer, selections, invert & press delete. Deselect.

Duplicate your tube layer. Apply a gaussian blur, 3.00. Set the blend mode to Screen, 100. On the original tube layer, set the blend mode to Luminance (L), 30.

Paste your tube again, but this time above the bird layer. Resize as necessary, placing to the left side of the squares.

Select a color for your text. I used #423122. Add your text of choice using your two fonts. You can either use the text I used, or another of your choice. Add a gradient glow of choice to the text.

Add your name, copyrights, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice to your layer, then merge visible. Save as a PNG.

Hibiki

Open your template. Delete the following layers: Raster 1, 9, 8, & 5. Merge together layers 1 & 2. Set your canvas size to 800 x 676. Resize all layers by 75%.

Open your mask & Paper9. Resize your paper by 75%. Paste your paper above the background layer of the template. Apply your mask, merge group.

Replace each template layer with the following:

1 – Paper8
3 – Paper12
4 – Paper4
6 – Paper13
7 – Paper7

Now lets add our elements:

PaperLanternString – resize by 60%. Paste above the striped paper layer. Place along the top of the black ornamental layer.
Screen – resize by 50%. Place to the upper left.
Panda – resize by 40%. Place to the lower left.
Umbrella3 – resize by 40%. Paste above the top layer, then place over the upper right corner of the top sqaure.
Lamp – resize by 50%. Place to the bottom, slightly to the left.
Grass – resize by 80%. Place to the bottom left. Duplicate & place to the bottom right.
CherryBlossom3 – resize by 50%. Place to the bottom left. Duplicate, flip horizontal, then place to the bottom right.
CherryBlossom2 – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom, to the right side of the flower in the lower left. Duplicate, flip horizontal, & place to the left side of the flower in the lower right.
Beads3 – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom left. Duplicate, place to the bottom right.
Containers – resize by 50%. Place to the bottom left.
Bowl2 – resize by 40%. Place to the lower right.
Shoes – resize by 35%, flip horizontal. Place to the lower right.
WishBox – resize by 40%. Place to the left of the shoes.
Candle2 – resize by 60%. Place to the right of the containers.
Sparkle2 – resize by 74%. Paste as a new layer.

Open your tube, resizing as necessary. Paste as a new layer above the umbrella layer. Place over the top dark grey square.

Add your name, copyright, & license info if using a PTU tube. Apply a drop shadow of choice to your layers. Merge visible & save as a PNG.

Toadies – What Are You?

Open a blank canvas, 600 x 250.

Open PP14. Paste as a new layer.

Now lets add our elements:

Swirl2 – resize by 60%, rotate left. Place to the far right. Duplicate, flip horizontal & place to the far right.
Banner – place to the top of your canvas.
Butterfly – resize by 30%. Place to the right, over the swirl. Rotate slightly to the right.
Flower8 – resize by 25%. Place to the lower left corner. Duplicate & place to the lower right corner.
Flower2 – resize by 25%. Place to the right side of the flower on the lower left. Move this layer below the flower on the lower left. Duplicate, flip horizontal. Place to the left side of the flower on the lower right. Move this layer above the lower left flower.
Flower 3 – resize by 25%. Place to the right side of the light colored flower. Move this layer to the top. Duplicate, flip horizontal. Place to the left of the light flower on the right.
Fan – resize by 50%. Place to the bottom.
Crown – resize by 30%. Place to the bottom, over the fan.
Mask2 – resize by 25%. Place to the left.
Trail – paste as a new layer. Rotate to the left slightly & place to your liking.

Now lets work on your frame:

Add a new layer. Floodfill with #fbfae4. Select all, modify, contract by 4. Press delete, deselect.

Open PP1. Paste as a new layer. Select all, modify, contract by 2. Press delete, deselect. Merge the frame layers together.

Now for your tube layers:

Open your tube, resize as necessary. Paste as a new layer above the butterfly layer. Place your tube to the right. Duplicate, gaussian blur, 3.00. Set the blend mode to screen, 50.

Copy your tube again without resizing. Paste as a new layer above the background paper layer. Duplicate & arrange in the open space of your image. Merge these two copies together, then duplicate. On the duplicate layer, gaussian blur, 3.00. Set the blend mode to screen. On the original merged tube layer, set the blend mode to soft light.

Add your name. Duplicate your name. On the original name text, Toadies, What Are You, 25, 52.

Add a glow around the original text, then add a slight drop shadow.

Add your copyright & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice to any of the remaining layers.

For the avatar, delete the frame layers & text layers. Flatten your image, then crop to the desired size. Repeat the text & frame layers for the avatar.

Merge visible, then save both your avatar & signature as a PNG.

Fiesta

Font of choice. I am using Carpenter ICG.

Open your template. Delete the following layers: credits, 13, 12, 11.

Set the canvas size to 650 x 539. Resize all layers by 92%. Back to setting the canvas size. Set the canvas size to 600 x 500.

Merge together any duplicate layers with their corresponding layer.

Now lets replace our layers with the following:

1 – Paper8
3 – Paper5
4 – Paper6
6 – Paper2
7 – Paper7
9 – set your foreground to #5f9699 & your background to #d1dfc6. Create a linear gradient, angle 45, repeats 3. Add a new raster layer & floodfill the layer with your gradient. (be sure to select all, float, defloat layer 9 before you add your new layer).

Now lets add our elements:

Splatter – resize by 76%. Place to the left side. Duplicate & move to the right, flip vertical. Merge these two layers together. Move this layer to the bottom.
Maracas – resize by 40%. Place above the left small sqaure. Move this layer below the circle paper layer. Rotate slightly to the right.
Blanket – resize by 50%. Place to the right side above the small sqaures layer.
Cactus – resize by 50%. Place to the bottom, between each small square.
Peppers – resize by 50%. Place along the right edge if the blanket.
Chihuahua – resize by 50%, flip horizontal. Place to the lower right.
Sombrero – resize by 40%. Place to the upper left corner of the blanket. Rotate slightly to the right.
Ribbon3 – resize by 92%. Place to the bottom.
Flower – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom right.
Salt – resize by 30%. Place to the left side of the flower.
Margarita – resize by 40%. Place to the right of the salt.
Guitar – resize by 50%. Place to the bottom left with the bottom of the guitar just below the top of the ribbon.
Pinata – resize by 30%. Place to the bottom left of the guitar.
Sparkles – place to your liking.

Word Art – resize by 60%. Select all, float, defloat. Add a new raster layer & floodfill with #ffffe9. Deselect.

Because the fill isn’t solid, we are going to do some adjusting. Add a new raster layer just below the word art layer. Floodfill with a darker gray.

On the light floodfill layer, use your brush tool, +Round 10 brush selected from the drop down layer. Make sure the hardness is set to 100. Now paint over the same color as you did the light floodfill. Make sure not to go outside of the edges of this layer.

Delete the dark gray layers. Merge together the wordart & the light floodfill layer. Place to the bottom of your template.

Open your tube & resize as necessary. Paste as a new layer just above the sombrero layer. Erase any part of the tube that extends below the ribbon.

Duplicate your tube & move the duplicate layer so it is just above the gradient layer. Arrange your tube over the left small square. On the gradient layer, select all, float, defloat. On the tube layer, selections, invert & press delete. Deselect.

Effects, artistic effects, halftone using the settings of your choice.

Add your name, copyrights, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice, then merge visible. Save as a PNG.

Fired Up

Open Frame1. Resize by 80%, all layers unchecked. Now resize all layers by 93%.

With your magic wand tool, click inside your frame. Selections, modify, expand by 10. Open PP3. Paste as a new layer above your frame layer. Selections, invert & press delete. Deselect.

Lets add our elements:

Branch – resize by 50%. Paste above your frame layer, place to the left side so the arch in the branch follows the arch in the frame.
Flag – place to the upper right side of the frame.
Dragon2 – resize by 60%. Place in the middle of the frame.
Tag – resize by 60%. Place to the bottom.
JewelCluster – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom left.
Flower1 – resize by 30%. Place to the upper right side of the frame. Duplicate & place to the bottom of the jewel cluster.
Dragon – resize by 40%. Place to the right side of the frame.
Bottle – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom right.
Crystalball – resize by 50%. Place to the left side of the bottle.
Sword – resize by 40%, rotate right. Place to the bottom, slightly to the right.
Sparkle2 – resize by 72%. Center over the tag.
Sparkles – resize by 62%.

Open PP5 & your mask. On your mask, image, negative image.

Copy & paste your paper as a new layer onto your tag. Apply your mask, merge group. Now with your pick tool, carefully scale the mask layer down so it is slightly larger than the rest of your tag.

Add your name, copyright, & license info if using a ptu tube. Apply a drop shadow of choice.

Hide your mask layer. Then merge visible. Unhide your mask. On the mask layer, Objects, Align, center in canvas. Repeat for the tag layer. I also cropped the image so there wasn’t so much unused space in the tag.

Merge visible, then save as a PNG.

Super Skullie

Open Frame 1. Resize by 75%, all layers unchecked. Now resize all layers by 94%.

Create a new linear gradient with the following colors: #fe85d6, #faf6ed, & #322b2d.

On your frame, use the magic wand tool & click inside your frame. Selections, modify, expand by 5. Add a new raster layer & floodfill with your gradient. Deselect. Move this layer below your frame layer.

Effects, Artistic Effects, Halftone using the following settings:

Open the Splatter. Place slightly above the top of the frame. Duplicate, place slightly below the bottom of the frame. Merge the two splatter layers together, then move this layer to the bottom.

Lets add the remaining elements, which will all be place above the frame layer:

Kitty – resize by 30%. Place along the right side of the frame.
Bow 1 – resize by 50%. Place to the upper right, along the frame.
Ribbon – resize by 70%. Place to the bottom.
Talk Bubble – resize by 30%, flip horizontal. Place to the upper left.
Cuppy – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom left.
String – resize by 70%. Place to the bottom.
Skull Cone – resize by 30%. Place to the right side of the cuppy.
Barrel – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom right.
Cherry Skulls – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom right of the barrel.
Bomb – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom of the barrel.
Lips – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom of the cuppy & cone.
Sparkles – resize by 74%.

Open your tube, resizing as necessary. Paste as a new layer just above the bow layer. Duplicate, gaussian blur 3.00. Set the blend mode to Screen, 50.

Add your name, copyrights, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice to your layers. Merge visible & save as a PNG.

Dapple Blossom

Open Frame4. Resize by 80%, all layers unchecked. Resize all layers by 92%.

Open your mask & PP11. Paste your paper as a new layer. Move you paper below your frame layer. Apply your mask, merge group. Add noise, uniform, 25, monochrome checked.

On your frame layer, use your magic wand tool and click inside the frame. Selections, modify, expand by 10. Open PP8 & paste as a new layer above the mask layer. Selections, invert & press delete. Deselect.

Add your elements. I chose:

JewelBorder – resize by 50%. Place along the top edge of the frame. Duplicate, flip vertical & place to the bottom edge of the frame.
Butterflies – resize by 25%. Place to the upper left corner.
Fan – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom of the right side of the frame. Duplicate, flip horizontal & place to the bottom of the left side of the frame.
Dressform – resize by 50%. Place to the left side.
Mask – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom along the bottom of the frame. Rotate slightly to the right.
Flower7 – resize by 20%. Place to the bottom left. Duplicate twice and arrange evenly spaced apart along the bottom. Merge these flowers together.
Ribbon2 – resize by 63%, rotate left. Place over the flowers.
Urn – resize by 30%. Place to the bottom right.
Hairband – resize by 30%, flip horizontal. Place to the bottom of the urn. On the urn layer, select all, float, defloat. With your eraser tool, erase the end of the hairband that crosses the urn. Deselect.
Flower1 – resize by 25%. Duplicate & place a copy between the first & second gold flower & then a copy between the second & third gold flower. Merge these two flowers together.
Bird – resize by 40%, flip horizontal. Place to the bottom, to the left of the urn.

Open your tube. Paste as a new layer above the frame back paper layer. Arrange over the paper layer to your liking. On the paper layer, select all, float, defloat. On your tube layer, selections, invert & press delete. Deselect. Duplicate your tube, gaussian blur, 3.00. Set the blend mode to Screen, 70. On the original layer, set the blend mode to Luminance(L), 30.

Paste your tube again, this time just above the jeweled layers. Resize as necessary & place to your liking.

Add your name, copyrights, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice to your layers.

Merge visible & save as a PNG.

Fantasy Tea Party

Open your template. Delete the following layers: font info, info, bottom stars, top stars, dirty mind, sexy imagination!, Just a, I don’t have a, pixel words, white strip, & bg. Set the canvas size to 800 x 800 px. Now resize all layers by 75%.

Open Paper10 & your mask. Paste your paper as a new layer onto your template canvas. Move this layer to the bottom. Apply your mask, merge group.

Now to replace the template layers with the following:

Grey oval – Paper5
Black strip – Paper11
Large orange circle – Paper12
Creme strip – Paper13
Pink circle – Paper15 (move the paper to the right so the sparkles & stars are visible in this layer)
Grey strip – Paper14
Small orange circle – Paper6
Creme rectangle – Paper13
Pink rectangle – Paper7

Now to add your elements (all elements should be placed above the top template layer):

Ivy – resize by 60%, flip horizontal. Place to the left.
Vine2 – resize by 60%, flip horizontal. Place over the ivy.
Birdfeeder – resize by 80%. Place to the right side.
Ribbon – rotate left, flip horizontal. Place to the bottom right.
Bird2 – resize by 40%. Place over the top of the birdfeeder.
Fairy – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom.
Kitten – resize by 50%. Place to the left side of the fairy.
Beads – place to the bottom.
Table – resize by 50%. Place to the bottom left.
Cup – resize by 30%. Place on top of the table.
Chipmunk – resize by 60%, flip horizontal. Place to the bottom right.
Mushroom – resize by 40%. Place in front of the chipmunk.
Rose – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom right of the kitten.
Canisters – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom of the table.
LButterflyCluster – resize by 30%. Place between the rose & mushroom. Rotate slightly to the right.
Sparkles – resize by 75%. Paste as a new layer.

On the small circle layer, select all, float, defloat.

Now lets add our tube. Open your tube, paste as a new layer above the small circle layer. Place to your liking. Then selections, invert & press delete. Deselect. Duplicate the tube, gaussian blur 3.00. Set the blend mode to screen. On the original tube layer, set the blend mode to luminance (L), 50.

Repeat for the small rectangle layer.

Paste your tube above the bird2 layer, resizing as necessary.

Add your name, copyrights, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice to your layers, then merge visible.

Save as a PNG.

Open PP11, resize by 22%. Paste as a new layer. Apply mask 161, merge group.

Now lets add our elements:

Grass2 – resize by 10%. place to the bottom left. Duplicate, flip horizontal, place to the bottom right.
Flower9 – resize by 8%. Paste as a new layer. Place over the grass, then move this layer below the duplicate grass. Duplicate then move above the duplicate grass. Plass over the duplicate grass.
Beads – resize by 21%. Place to the bottom. Move this layer below the duplicate grass & flower layers.
String – resize by 21%. Place to the bottom.
Bow2 – resize by 4%. Place to the upper left side of the frame. Rotate slightly to the left.
Lace – resize by 14%. Place to the bottom.
Flower1 – resize by 6%. Place to the bottom left.
Birdhouse – resize by 5%. Place to the upper right side of the frame.
Bird – resize by 8%. Place over the birdhouse. Move this layer above the duplicate flower & grass layers.
Lemonade – resize by 6%. Place to the bottom right.
Foliage – resize by 12%. Place to the bottom.
Envelope – resize by 6%. Place to the bottom right side of the flower pot. Rotate slightly to the left.
Eggs – resize by 5%. Place to the bottom right of the lemonade.
Flower4 – resize by 10%. Place to the lower right corner of the envelope. Duplicate & place to the left of the lemonade.
Flower7 – resize by 8%. Place between the two purple & white flowers.

Open your template. Delete the cr, 10, 9, & 3 layers. Set the canvas size to 800 x 594. Resize all layers by 75%.

Merge together the following layers:

1 & 2
5 & 6
7 & 8

Replace each layer with the following:

1 – Paper 5
4 – select all, float, defloat. Add a new raster layer. Open Paper 6. Copy the paper and paste into selection.
5 – Paper 1
7 – select all, float, defloat. Add a new raster layer & floodfill with #ecddb2. Do not deselect yet.

Selections, modify, select selection borders, both sides, 2, anti-alias checked. Add a new layer then with a gradient of your choice (I used a linear gradient, angle 45, repeats 3 with #d2b980 & #f3efe9), floodfill this layer. Add noise, uniform, 25, monochrome checked. Now you can deselect.

Now lets add our elements:

Element30 – resize by 50%. Paste as a new layer above the black & gold paper layer. Place to the top of the frames.
Element06 – resize by 50%. Place to the bottom. Move this layer above the frame layer.
Element54 – paste as a new layer & place to the bottom.
Element03 – resize by 60%. Place to the bottom left.
Element20 – resize by 30%. Place to the bottom left, along the left side of the frames.
Element49 – resize by 50%. Place to the bottom left, between the bottle & mascara.
Element18 – resize by 60%. Place the the botom of the mascara.
Element28 – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom right.
Element51 – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom left of the shoe.
Element44 – resize by 50%. Place over the shoe, rotate slightly to the right.
Element50 – resize by 40%. Place to the right of the cash.
Element02 – resize by 20%. Place over the cash & poker chips.
Element15 – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom.

Open your tube, resizing as necessary. Paste as a new layer above the frame back layer. Place your tube over the left set of frame backs. Duplicate, place over the right side of frame backs. Place to your liking, then merge the two tube layers together. On the frame back layer, select all, float, defloat. On the tubes layer, selections, invert, & press delete. Deselect. Duplicate the tubes layer, gaussian blur, 3.00. Set the blend mode for this layer to screen, 100.

On the original merged layer, effects, artistic effects halftone using the following settings:

Now set the blend mode for this layer to luminance (L), 70.

Paste your tube again, then move this layer above the cityscape layer, resizing as necessary.

Add your name, copyright, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice to your layers, then merge visible. Objects, alight, center in canvas.

Open your mask & Paper03. Paste your paper as a new layer above the background layer. Apply your mask, merge group.

Save as a PNG.
