Cute As A Button

This tutorial was written by me on September 9, 2013 and is my own creation. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional.

PS Version used: PS CS3 Extended, and can be easily modified for PSP.

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PS/PSP.

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using the art of Barbara Jensen. Her tubes can be purchased here

PTU kit by Kandii Popz Dezignz called Cute As a Button. You can purchase this kit here

BigMask005 by Vix. You can find it here

Font of choice. I am using Times New Roman.

Open FRAME4. Set the canvas size to 1100 x 1100. Image size, 600 x 600.

PAPER10 – apply your mask – move below your frame layer

PAPER14 – move just below your frame layer. Use your magic wand and click inside the frame. On the PAPER14 layer, selections, inverse and press delete. Deselect.

Tube – place just below the frame layer, inside the frame. Ctrl + click on the yellow paper thumbnail. On your tube layer, selections, inverse. Deselect. Duplicate the tube layer, gaussian blur 3.0, set the blend mode to overlay.

The remainder of the elements will go above the frame layer, from bottom to top:

BOTTLE – image size 44 x 160 – place to lower left.
RIBBON1 – image size 550 x 76 – place to the bottom
RIBBON2 – image size 550 x 102 – place over the purple ribbon
ROSES – image size 148 x 160 – place to the bottom center, over the ribbons
SPARKLES1 – image size 550 x 358 – place to the bottom
SPARKLES3 – image size 550 x 233 – place slightly up from the bottom or to your liking

Add your name, copyright, & license info.

Merge visible and save as a PNG.
