Visions of Spring

I have joined another CT! Yup…I am now CTing for Creative Scraps by Crys! 

To start out, I chose to work with her Visions of Spring kit…

This tutorial was written by me on January 17th, 2014 and is my own creation. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional.

PSP Version used: PSP X5 but should work in other versions.

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using the stunning work of VeryMany. You can purchase her tubes here

PTU kit, Visions of Spring, by Creative Scraps by Crys

Font of choice. I am using Seaside Heights

Filters:
Penta.com Color Dot

Open a blank canvas, 600 x 250.

Open Paper 12. Copy and paste as a new layer.

Open Element 28. Flip horizontal, rotate right. Resize by 50%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the right.

Open Element 3. Copy and paste as a new layer.

Open Element 22. Resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the far left.

Open Element 57. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the right side and up a little so the flowers are showing.

Open your tube. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move this layer just above the paper layer. Place to the inside right of the frame. On the frame layer, click inside the frame. Selections, modify, expand by 2. On the tube layer, selections, invert and press delete.

Duplicate your tube layer. Set the blend mode to Screen, opacity 50. Apply Penta.com Color Dot to this layer. Change the amount to 10. On the original tube layer, set the blend mode to Luminance (L), opacity 40.

Open Element 48. Resize by 32%. Copy and paste as a new layer above the frame layer. Place slightly to the left of the frame, up at the top of the canvas.

Open Element 46. Resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the upper left corner.

Open Element 58. Resize by 33%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the lower left corner.

Open Element 43. Rotate clockwise 90. Copy and paste as a new layer and place to your liking.

Open Element 56. Rotate clockwise 90. Copy and paste as a new layer.

Open Element 51. Resize by 35%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the left so it looks like the bird is sitting on the fence.

Open Element 38. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to your liking.

Open Element 59. Resize by 50%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom right of the bird.

Open Element 27. Flip horizontal, resize by 35%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place over the left side of the frame to the top.

Open your tube again, resizing as necessary. Place to your liking.

Open Element 42. Resize by 45%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom right.

Add a new raster layer and floodfill with #f5f5f6. Select all, selections, modify, contract by 5. Press delete. Do not deselect.

Add a new raster layer and floodfill with #57bddy. Selections, modify, contract by 2. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect. Add noise to this layer, uniform, 100, monochrome checked. Merge this layer down.

Add your name, copyright, and license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice to your layers. Merge all flatten. Save as a PNG or JPG.
