This tutorial was written by me on March 16th, 2014 and is my own creation. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional.

PSP Version used: PSP X5 but should work in other versions.

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using the art of VeryMany. You can purchase this tube here

PTU Rockstar kit by Freek’s Creations. You can purchase it here, here, or here.

Template 486 by Divine Intentionz. You can find it here

RB Mask 86 by Rosesblack. You can find it here

Font of choice. I am using Weltron.

Open your template. Set the canvas size to 750 x 580. Resize all layers by 80%. Delete the credits, stars & text layers.

Open Paper 4 & your mask. Copy & paste as a new layer above the background layer. Apply your mask, merge group. Move to the right side. Duplicate, flip horizontal & place to the left side. Merge your mask layers together.

Now to add your paper layers from the bottom to top:

Raster 14 & Copy of Raster 14 – Paper 7
Raster 12 – Paper 10
Raster 11 & Copy of Raster 11 – Paper 9

Raster 10 & Copy of Raster 10 – Select all, float, defloat. Add a new raster layer. Create a linear gradient using #269ca6, #f7f7f7, & #d93365, angle 45, repeats 2. Floodfill with your gradient. Deselect and add noise, gaussian, 25, monochrome checked.

Raster 7 & Copy of Raster 7 – Paper 1
Raster 9 – using the same gradient as before, except change the angle to 315. Select all, float, defloat. Add a new raster layer and floodfill with your gradient. Deselect.
Raster 8 – Paper 11
Raster 6 – Manual color correction. Set the source to #f95a99, target to #d93365.
Raster 3 – Manual color correction. Set the source to #1ea6bf, target to #269ca6.
Raster 5 – Floodfill with your gradient, angle 315.
Raster 4 – Paper 12
Rounded edge rectangle2 – Paper 6
Raster 2 – Paper 9
Raster 1 – Floodfill with your gradient, angle 45.

Now lets add your elements:

Broken Glass – resize by 83%. Place below the pink strips layer.
Splash – resize by 69%. Place above the blue strip layer.
Stage Lights – resize by 40%. Place on the top layer, to the upper right corner.
Drumsticks – resize by 30%. Place to the left side.
Keys – resize by 90%. Place to the bottom, flip horizontal.
Drums – resize by 65%. Place to the bottom right.
Bling – resize by 92%.
Ribbon4 – resize by 92%. Place to the bottom.
Speakers2 – resize by 40%. Place to the lower left.
BackstagePass – resize by 30%. Place to the bottom of the speaker.
Bow – resize by 40%. Place to the left side of the stage lights.
Microphone – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom right, slightly in from the right.
Sparkles – resize by 75%.

Now for the tube layers:

Open your tube and place a copy over each of the black square layers. On each black square layer, select all, float, defloat. On the tube layer, selections, invert and press delete. Deselect.

For each tube layer, duplicate, gaussian blur 3.00. Set the blend mode to Screen, opacity 80. On the original layer, set the blend mode to Screen, opacity 55.

Still on the original layer, Effects, Artistic Effects, Halftone using the following settings:

Round, 3, 108, Use as overlay checked, Screen, 50, Greyscale. Ink black, background white.

Copy & paste your tube again just above the bow layer. Resize as necessary and place to your liking. Duplicate, gaussian blur 3.00. Set the blend mode to Screen, opacity 73.

Add your name, copyright, and license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice and then merge visible. Save as a PNG.
