PSP Version used: PSP X5

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using the beautiful art of Barbara Jensen. You can purchase her tubes here.

PTU Peace and Serenity kit by Creative Scraps by Crys. You can purchase this kit here.

Gemsmask29 by Gems Taggin’ Scraps. You can find it here.

Font of choice. I am using Monmica Demo.

Open a new blank canvas, 600 x 600. Open Paper 3 & your mask. Minimize your mask. Copy your paper & paste as a new layer onto your blank canvas. Apply your mask, merge group.

Open Frame 1. Resize by 80%. Copy & paste as a new layer onto your new canvas.

With your magic wand, click inside each frame. Selections, modify, expand by 10. Open Paper 7. Copy & paste as a new layer. Selections, invert & press delete. Deselect and move this layer below the frame layer.

Now lets add our elements.

Element 18 – resize by 80%; place to the top. Duplicate, flip horizontal & vertical. Place this copy to the bottom. Merge these two layers together. Move this layer just above the mask layer.

Element 13 – resize by 88%; place to your liking.

Element 6 – resize by 60%.

Element 19 – resize by 45%; place over the area where the corner of the bottom frame meets the corner of the top frame. Duplicate & place to the bottom left corner of the bottom frame.

Element 5 – resize by 50%; place to the bottom left. Move this layer below the duplicate branch layer.

Element 20 – resize by 30%; place over the original branch layer. Duplicate & move over the duplicate branch layer.

Element 2 – resize by 50%; place to the bottom right, below the duplicate flower layer.

Element 25 – resize by 80%; place to the bottom.

Element 16 – resize by 45%; place to the bottom right. Move this layer to the top.

Open your tube. Copy & paste as a new layer, resize as necessary. Move this layer just below the pillow layer. On your frame layer, select your magic wand tool and click inside the bottom frame. Selections, modigy, expand by 1. On your tube layer, selections, invert. Using your eraser tool, erase the part of the tube that extends below the bottom frame opening. Deselect.

Add your name, copyright, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice, merge visible. Save as a PNG.

You’re Late

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using the awesome art of Elias Chatzoudis. I purchased this tube when he was with PSP Tubes Emporium. You can now purchase his tubes here

PTU kit Your Late bye Creative Scraps by Crys. You can purchase this kit here

Template 602 by Millie’s PSP Madness. You can find it here

Mask 3 by WitchysHeart. You can find it here

Font of choice. I am using Freeze.

Filters: EyeCandy 4000 Gradient Glow (optional for text)

Open your template & mask. Minimize your mask for now. On your template, set the canvas size to 800 x 522. Resize by 75%. Set the canvas size now to 600 x 450.

Delete the credits layer. Move all the frame layers to the top and merge them together. Merge together all the frame back layers. Then merge together layers 2 & 3.

Open Paper 13. Copy & paste as a new layer just above the background layer. Apply your mask, merge group. Duplicate the mask layer & merge down.

Now lets add our papers:

Layer 1 – Paper 7
Merged layer 2 & 3 – Paper 4
Layer 4 – Paper 18
Layer 5 – Paper 3
Merged frame back layer – Paper 11
Merged frames layer – Paper 9

And now lets add our elements:

Element 2 – resize by 25%; place to the top right corner of the far left frame. Rotate slightly to the right.
Element 73 – resize by 80%; place so the top edge of the branches is flush with the top edge of the orange paper layer.
Element 74 – flip horizontal & place to your liking.
Element 59 – resize by 30%; place to the top of the flower branches. Duplicate, flip horizontal. Move this layer to the bottom, down from the first frame.
Element 61 – resize by 60%; place to the lower left & move this layer below the duplicate bow.
Element 38 – resize by 70%; place to the left side.
Element 19 – resize by 40%; place to the bottom right.
Element 50 – resize by 15%; place to the bottom left, slightly in.
Element 25 – resize by 40%; place to the bottom left of the chair.
Element 11 – resize by 35%; place to the left of the potted plant.
Element 1 – resize by 40%; place in front of the cupcake, move slightly down.
Element 69 – resize by 30%; place to the left of the tea cup.
Element 40 – resize by 22%; place over the tree leaves.

Now add your tube just above the frame back layer. Duplicate twice and arrange to your liking. Merge the tube layers together. On the frame back layer, select all, float, defloat. On the merged tubes layer, selections, invert & press delete. Deselect.

Duplicate the merged tubes layer, gaussian blur 3.00. Set the blend mode to screen. On the original tubes layer, set the blend mode to luminance (L), opacity 57.

Copy & paste your tube again & move this layer so it is just below the stone wall layer, resize as necessary.

Add your name, copyright, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice, & merge visible. Save as a PNG.

Daily Dose

Delirium template by Dees’Sign Depot. You can find it here

Mask 21 by Gems Taggin’ Scraps. You can find it here

Font of choice. I am using Nirvana.

Open your template. Delete the following layers: info, word art d/s, Delirium d/s, Purple Star, & white stars layers.

Set the canvas size to 800 x 800. Resize all layers by 75%.

Open Paper 6 & your mask. Minimize your mask for now. Copy and paste your paper as a new layer just above the bg layer. Apply your mask, merge group. Duplicate your mask and then merge down.

Now lets add our papers (resize all your papers by 75%):

Purple square layer – Paper 3
Tan square layer – Paper 5
Purple strips layer – Paper 4
Purple oval layer – Paper 1
Dark purple strip layer – Paper 7
Creme rectangle layer – Paper 8
Tan circle layer – Paper 9
Purple circle layer – Paper 7
Bottom creme rectangle layer – Paper 8

On all your dotted layers, Shift + B, 255, 100.

On your Delirium Purple layer, select all, float, defloat. Add a new raster layer and floodfill with a color of your choice. Deselect & delete the original layer. Add noise, gaussian, 25, monochrome checked. Now merge all your word art layers together. Select all, float, defloat. Selections, modify, expand by 2. Add a new raster layer and floodfill with #af0006. Deselect & add noise using the same settings as before. Move this layer below the word art layer. Merge these two layers together.

Now lets add our elements:

Element 69 – resize by 60%; place above the top dotted rectangle layer, slightly to the right.
Element 6 – resize by 50%; place above the blue circle frame layer to the far right. Rotate to an angle of your choice.
Element 24 – resize by 30%; place to the upper right corner.
Element 57 – resize by 88%; place to the bottom.
Element 19 – resize by 50%; flip horizontal and move this layer above your word art layer. Place to the bottom right.
Element 23 – resize by 30%; place on top of the ‘D’ in Delirium.
Element 9 – resize by 40%; place to the right, slightly down from the band aid.
Element 36 – resize by 30%; place to the top of the circle frame layer.
Element 2 – resize by 30%; flip horizontal & place to the bottom left.
Element 67 – resize by 50%.

Now lets add our tube layers:

Open your tube or a closeup and resize if necessary. Place over the top large rectangle layer and place on the right side to your liking. On the rectangle layer, select all, float, defloat. On your tube layer, selections, invert and press delete. Deselect. Duplicate, gaussian blur, 3.00. Set the blend mode to Screen, opacity 70. On the original tube layer, set the blend mode to Luminance (L), opacity 50. Repeat for the other large rectangle layer and also the red circle layer.

Add your tube above the Rx element layer.

Apply a drop shadow of choice to your layers, then merge visible. Add your name, copyrights, & license info. Save as a PNG.

Glam It Up

Tube of choice. I am using the art of Creative Scraps by Crys. You can purchase this tube here.

PTU kit Glam It Up by Dees’Sign Depot. You can purchase it here.

Mask 2 from my Creative Chicks April Mask set. You can find it here. You must be a member to obtain these masks and are welcome to join the forum!

Font of choice. I am using Dragon is Coming.

Open a blank canvas, 600 x 600.

Open your mask & Paper 3. Copy your paper onto your blank canvas. Apply your mask, merge group.

Open Frame 5. Resize by 66%. Copy & paste as a new layer.

With your magic wand, click inside the center of your frame. Selections, modify, expand by 10. Open Paper 2. Copy & paste as a new layer. Selections, invert & press delete. Deselect. Move this layer below your paper layer.

Lets add your elements now:

Spray 3 – resize by 85%; move this layer above your mask layer.
Element 7 – resize by 79%, flip vertical; place above the frame layer to the bottom.
Element 11 – resize by 40%, rotate right. Place to the bottom right. Duplicate, flip horizontal, & place to the bottom left.
Element 38 – resize by 40%; place to the bottom center.
Element 16a – resize by 25%; place slightly below the white flowers.
Element 37 – resize by 50%; place to the lower right.
Element 31 – resize by 40%; place to the lower left.
Element 55 – resize by 40%; place to the left side of the purse.
Element 54 – resize by 30%; place to the left side of the lipstick.
Element 30 – resize by 50%; place along the left side of the frame.
Element 39 – place to the right side of the purse.
Spray 7 – resize by 88%.

Now to add your tube layers:

Open your tube. Copy & paste as a new layer just below your frame layer. Place to the left side. Duplicate, flip horizontal & place to the right side. Merge these two layers together.

On the frame back layer, select all, float, defloat. On the merged tubes layer, selections, invert & press delete. Deselect. Duplicate the merged tubes layer, gaussian blur 3.00. Lower the opacity to 30. On the original layer, set the blend mode to overlay.

Copy your tube again & paste just below the top layer, resizing as necessary.

Add your name, copyrights, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice to your layers & then merge visible. Save as a PNG.

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PS.

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using the art of Pinuptoons. I purchased this tube when he was with CILM. You can now purchase his tubes here

Mask 1 by me. You can grab it here

Font of choice. I am using Kleymissky.

*Resizing: To resize/scale, drag your elements to your working canvas and then with the move tool selected, check the ‘Show Transform Tools’. Then while holding down the Shift button, drag the corners inward to resize to the desired size.*

Open Frame 2. Set the canvas size to 900 x 900. Now set the image size to 600 x 600.

Open Paper 5. Drag over to your frame. Move this layer below the frame. Highlight your frame layer and with your magic wand tool, click inside the frame. Select, modify, expand by 10. On the paper layer, Select, Inverse and press delete. Deselect.

Add your elements. I used the following elements:

Element 26 – resize & place in the lower right corner of the frame. Duplicate & place to the upper left corner of the frame. Merge these two layers together. Move this layer above the frame layer.
Element 11 – resize & place to the top of the frame.
Element 23 – resize & place to the bottom of the frame.
Element 16 – rotate canvas 90CW. Resize & place over the ribbon.
Element 10 – resize & place to the bottom left.
Element 29 – resize & place to the left side.
Element 12 – resize & place over the top of the frame. Duplicate & place over the bottom of the frame.
Element 31 – resize & place over the box.
Element 17 – resize & place to the lower left of the glass.
Element 15 – place to your liking.

Now to add your tubes:

Place 2 copies of your tube over the paper layer. When you are satisfied with the placement, merge the tube layers together. Ctrl + Click on the thumbnail for the paper layer. Select, inverse and press delete.

Ctrl + A, Image, crop. Deselect.

Duplicate your merged tubes layer. Gaussian blur, 3.00. Set the blend mode to Screen, opacity 60. On the original layer, set the blend mode to Luminosity, opacity 30.

Place a copy of your tube layer just below your top layer, resize as necessary. Place slightly to the right.

Open your mask & Paper 2. Place your paper above your mask layer on your mask image. With the mask layer highlighted, Ctrl + A, Ctrl + C. On the paper layer, press Q, Ctrl + V. Press Q again and then in the layer palette, click on the Add layer mask button. Right click over the paper layer, Convert to Smart Object, and then right click again & Rasterize layer. Deselect. Now drag your masked paper layer onto your working canvas. Move this layer to the bottom. Duplicate twice. Merge your mask layers together.

Apply a drop shadow of choice to your layers, merge visible. Add you name, copyright, and license info. Save as a PNG.

PTU kit A Beautiful Innocence by Creative Scraps by Crys. You can purchase this kit here, here, or here.

Font of choice. I am using Great Vibes.

Filters: AAA FotoFrame

Open a blank canvas, 600 x 250.

Open Paper 5 and drag onto your canvas. Place to your liking.

Add your elements. I chose the following:

Element 49 – place to your liking.
Element 26 – Image>Rotate Canvas>90 CW; place in the middle.
Element 52 – Edit>Transform>Flip Vertical; place to the bottom of the canvas.
Element 32 – place to your liking.
Element 59 – resize by 50%; place to the bottom left corner.
Tube – place slightly to the right, resizing as necessary.
Element 34 – resize by 45%; place to the left side of your tube. Duplicate and place along the right side of the tube.
Element 42 – resize by 80%; place to the bottom left so the leaf bunches are to the left and you can no longer see the stem on the left. Duplicate, Edit>Transform>Flip horizontal. Place to the far right.
Element 16 – resize by 45%; place to the top of the clock.
Element 30 – resize by 40%; place to the right side of the clock.
Element 19 – place to the left side and arrange to your liking. Duplicate, Edit>Transform>Rotate 180 and place to the top right.
Element 23 – resize by 30%; place to the bottom, halfway between the left side and middle. Duplicate, Edit>Transform>Flip horizontal. Place between the middle and right side.
Element 29 – resize by 35%; place to the bottom between the blue flowers. Duplicate, Edit>Transform>Flip horizontal. Place to the bottom left. Duplicate and place this copy to the bottom right.
Element 34 – resize by 30%; place to the bottom right, next to the right flower. Image>Transform>Flip horizontal.

Apply a drop shadow of choice to your layers and flatten image. Image>Duplicate.

AAA FotoFrame. Change the width to 6, matte to 1, and opacity to 50.

Add your name, copyright, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice to your name. Flatten image again and save as a PNG.

For your avatar, open a new image, 200 x 200. On the original flattened image, drag image onto your new blank canvas. Arrange to your liking and flatten image. Apply the AAA FotoFrame again using the previous settings. Add your Initial and copyright & license info. Apply a drop shadow to your initial. Flatten image and save as a PNG.

Supplies:

Open a blank canvas, 600 x 600.

Open Frame 1. Resize by 65%. Copy and paste as a new layer. With your magic wand, click inside the frame. Selections, modify, expand by 10.

Open Paper 10. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and move this layer below the frame layer.

Open your tube or a closeup. Flip horizontal and paste over the paper layer. On the paper layer, select all, float, defloat. On the tube layer, selections, invert and press delete. Deselect.

Duplicate your tube/closeup. Gaussian bur 3.00. Set the blend mode to screen, opacity 63. On the original tube layer, set the blend mode to luminance(L), opacity 16.

Open Paper 1 and your mask. Copy and paste your paper as a new layer. Move this layer to the bottom. Apply your mask, merge group. Using your pick tool, stretch the size of the mask so it is slightly larger than your frame.

Now lets add your elements:

Element 11 – resize by 40%; place above your frame to the bottom right.
Element 18 – resize by 88%; place along to top of the frame.
Element 14 – resize by 20%; place to the bottom left of the books.
Element 27 – resize by 50%; place to the top right side of the frame.
Element 20 – resize by 40%; place to the top left corner of your frame. Duplicate, and rotate to your liking.
Element 19 – resize by 30%; place under the first white leaves and rotate to your liking. Duplicate and move this above the first white leaves. Rotate and place to your liking. Duplicate again, rotate, and place to your liking.
Element 22 – resize by 30%; place over your leaves.
Element 6 – resize by 30%, flip horizonal; place over the bottom part of the flower.
Element 10 – resize by 40%, flip horizontal; place to the bottom left.
Element 24 – resize by 88%

Open your full-size tube. Place to the bottom of the frame.

Add your name, copyright, and license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice and merge visible. Save as a PNG.
