PSP Version used: PSP X5 but should work in other versions.

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

StoneMask by Gina’s Gems. You can find it here

Font of choice. I am using Chell Chrome Bold.

Open a blank canvas 600 x 400.

Open Paper 1 and minimize. In the materials palette, set the background to pattern and choose your paper from the drop-down list.

Type out your name, size 125. Convert to raster layer.
Using your magic wand, click outside the text, the inside of the ‘A’ and ‘D’ so the letters are selected. Selections, modify, expand by 2. Selections, invert.

Open Paper 7. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and move this layer below the text layer.

On the text layer, add a drop shadow of choice and then merge down.

Open your mask and Paper 9. Copy and paste your paper as a new layer below your text layer. Apply your mask, merge group. Duplicate and merge down.

Now to add your elements from bottom to top:

Glitter – resize by 70%; place towards the top of your mask.
Harp – resize by 50%; place to the left side of the first letter.
Cuppy – resize by 50%; place to the right side of the last letter.
Basket – resize by 50%; place behind the 3rd letter, slightly to the left.
Faery – resize by 50%; place between the basket & cuppy above the text layer.
Ribbon2 – resize by 80%; place to the bottom of your text.
Glitternclovers – resize by 80%; place over the ribbon.
Leprechaun1 – resize by 40%; place to the left side of the first letter.
Pintbottle – resize by 25%; place to the bottom right of the leprechaun.
Flower3 – resize by 30%; place to the bottom of the last letter. Duplicate & place to the bottom of the second and third letters.
Mouse – resize by 30%; place to the bottom of the cuppy.

Add a drop shadow of choice to your layers. Merge visible and save as a PNG.

Open your template & mask. Minimize your mask for now. On your template, set the canvas size to 850 x 737. Resize all layers by 71%. Delete the credits layer & Raster 11.

Open 3. Copy & Paste above the background layer. Apply your mask, merge group.

Now add your papers to each layer:

Raster 8 – Paper2
Raster 9 & Copy of Raster 9 – Paper4
Raster 6 & Copy of Raster 6 – Paper9
Raster 7 & Copy of Raster 7 – Paper10
Raster 2 – Paper4
Raster 10 – manual color correction. Set the source to #fefbef and the target to #5f5e5c
Raster 5 & Copy of Raster 5 – Paper8
Copy (2) of Raster 1 – add a new raster layer and floodfill with #5f5e5c. Add noise, gaussian, 100, monochrome checked
Copy of Raster 1 – add a new raster layer, create a linear gradient of your choice, repeats 0. Floodfill with your gradient.

Open your tube. My tube has two closeups with it, so I am using one of the closeups. Place over the left side of the gradient layer. Duplicate, flip horizontal and place to the right side of the gradient layer. Move the duplicate below the original. Merge the tubes together.

On the gradient layer, select all, float, defloat. On the merged tubes layer, selections, invert and press delete. Deselect.

Duplicate the tubes layer, gaussian blur 3.00. Set the blend mode to Screen, opacity 50. On the original merged layer, set the blend mode to Luminance(L), opacity 40.

Open your texture, Shift+L, 0, 0. Copy and paste as a new layer above your tube layers. On the gradient layer, select all, float, defloat. On the texture layer, selections, invert and press delete. Deselect.

Now for the elements:

Splats – resize by 83%. Move this layer just above the mask layer.
Wire – resize by 97%. Rotate to the right 40 degrees. Move this layer so it is just above the striped paper layer.
City – resize by 92%. Place above the wire layer.
Charm – resize by 50%. Place above the texture layer, to the top left.
Cross – resize by 60%. Place between to the 2 tubes.
MusicNotes – resize by 92%. Place to the top of your template.
Keyboard – resize by 92%, flip horizontal. Place to the bottom.
Rope – flip vertical and place over the keyboard.
Bike – resize by 50%. Place to the bottom left.
Sparkles2 – resize by 85%.
Flower2 – resize by 60%. Place to the top right corner of the keyboard. Duplicate, flip horizontal and place to the bottom of the bike.

Open your full-size tube and resize as necessary. Place to your liking.

Candle – resize by 50%. Place to the left of the duplicate flower.

Now add your name, and apply the settings of choice for EyeCandy 5 Impact: Bevel.

Add your copyright & license info. You may apply a gradient glow if desired.

What I do is on the text layer, select all, float, defloat. Selections, expand by 2. Then add a new raster layer and floodfill with the color of my choice. I move this layer below the text layer and merge the text with this layer.

Apply a drop shadow of choice to your layers. Merge visible and save as a PNG.

Open you template & mask. Minimize you mask for now.

On the template, set the canvas size to 727 x 750. Now resize all layers by 80%. Delete the credits layer.

Merge together the following layers:

1 & 2
3 & 4

Open paper 4. Copy and paste as a new layer. Apply your mask, merge group. Move this layer to the bottom.

Now lets add our papers to the template layers:

Layer 1 – Paper 1
Layer 3 – Paper 2
Layer 5 – Paper 10
Layer 6 – manual color correction. Set the source to #856d99 and the target to #f371ad. Penta.com Color Dot. Set the distance to 10.
Layer 7 – Paper 8, rotated 90 degrees clockwise.
Layer 8 – repeat process for Layer 6, but set the source to #4ca4aa and the target to #a55da9. Repeat Penta.com Color Dot.

Now to add our elements:

Rope – add this layer just above the camo paper.
Stars&Sparkles – place to the bottom right, move this layer to the top. Duplicate, flip horizontal & vertical. Place to top left.
GlitterSpill – resize by 85%.
Ribbon2 – resize by 85%. Place to the top.
Heart – resize by 60%. Place to the bottom left.
Speakers – resize by 60%. Place to the bottom of the heart, slightly to the right.
Amaranth – resize by 60%. Place to the top left. Duplicate, flip horizontal and place to the right, slightly down.
Lollypop – resize by 60%. Place to the right, slightly down from the center.
Sundae – resize by 60%. Place to the bottom right.
String2 – resize by 85%, flip horizontal. Place to the bottom.
Choco – resize by 50%. Place to the bottom left of the sundae.
MetalSkull – resize by 50%. Place to the bottom left side of the speakers.
Bracelet – resize by 40%. Place to the right of the choco.
Sparkles – resize by 85%.

Now add your tubes:

With layer 6 highlighted, place your tube over this layer to your liking, flip horizontal. Select layer 6 (select all, float, defloat). On your tube layer, selections, invert and press delete. Deselect. Duplicate your tube layer, gaussian blur 3.00. Set the blend mode to Overlay, 45. On the original tube layer, Shift+L, 0, 0. Set the opacity for this layer to 45. Repeat for Layer 8.

With the yellow ribbon layer highlighted, add you tube again. Place slightly to the right, resize as necessary.

Add your name, copyrights, & license info. Add a drop shadow of choice and merge visible. Save as a PNG.

Melt In Your Mouth

Texture 13 by Sirius. You can get it here

Two fonts of choice. I am using Selfish for the name and for the pixel words I am using Fleftex Mono.

Filters:

Filters Unlimited 2.0

Open your template.

Delete the following layers: glitter mat, pixel words, Goodness d/s, Goodness Pink, Melt in your mouth d/s, Melt in your mouth white, Info.

Resize all layers by 86%.

Open the Splats. Resize by 92%. Copy and paste as a new layer just above the background layer.

Now let’s add our papers:

Large pink square – Paper 10
Pink oval – Paper 7
Center light pink strip – Paper 8

Now for the other layers:

White oval – select all, float, defloat. Add a new raster layer and floodfill with #fbf2f7. Add noise, uniform, 50. Deselect, and delete the original layer.

Dotted oval – manual color correction, set the source to #000000 and the target to #fbf2f7.

Merge the right and left blue strip layers together. Manual color correction, set the source to #7899ba and the target to #44afaf.

Peach strip – manual color correction, set the source to #eabc9a and the target to #f880b0.

Pink strip – manual color correction, set the source to #b45b87 and the target to #001f3c.

Center blue rectangle – manual color correction, set the source to #7899ba and the target to #44afaf.

Highlight the blue strip layer. In your pixel font using #fbf2f7, add the words ‘MELT IN YOUR MOUTH’ and place to the left side of the blue strip layer. Duplicate and place this copy on the right side of the blue strip layer.

Open your texture. Resize by 17% and copy.

Center light pink rectangle – select all, float, defloat. Paste your texture as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Delete the original layer. Repeat for the left and right small pink rectangles layers.

Goodness text – manual color correction, set the source to #ffffff and the target to #fbf2f7. Select all, float, defloat. Selections, modify, expand by 2. Add a new raster layer and floodfill with #f880b0. Deselect and move below the white Goodness text. Merge these two layers together.

Melt in your mouth text – manual color correction, set the source to #000000 and the target to #001f3c. Select all, float, defloat. Selections, modify, expand by 2. Add a new raster layer and floodfill with #fbf2f7. Deselect and move below the Melt in your mouth text. Merge these two layers together.

On your texture layers, Filters Unlimited 2.0, Paper Textures, Striped Paper, Fine using the default settings.

Open your tube. Copy and paste as a new layer over the large texture rectangle. Flip horizontal and place over the left side of this layer. Duplicate, flip horizontal and place over the right side of this layer. Merge the two tubes together.

Duplicate this layer, gaussian blur, 3.00. Set the blend mode to screen. On the original layer, set the blend mode to soft light.

Repeat for the remaining texture layers, placing your tube as you wish over each layer.

Now for the elements. Add them below the text layers unless otherwise stated:

Glitter – resize by 85%.
Ribbon1 – Copy and paste as a new layer.
Chockys – resize by 40%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the upper right corner.
Flower1 – resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the upper left side, on the right side of the small rectangle layer.

Open your tube again. Copy and paste as a new layer, resizing as necessary. Place slightly to the right.

Lolly3 – resize by 60%. Rotate slightly to the left. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the far left.
Lolly1 – resize by 60%. Rotate slightly to the right. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place slightly to the lower right of the heart lolly.
ShapeCuppy – flip horizontal, resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer and place to the bottom of the lollies.
HeartCuppy – resize by 65%. Copy and paste as a new layer above the text layers. Place to the lower right corner.
WingedKiss – resize by 50%. Rotate slightly to the right. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the lower left of the heart cuppy.
Sparkles1 – resize by 74%. Copy and paste as a new layer.

Add your name, copyright, and license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice to your layers. Merge visible and save as a PNG.

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PS/PSP.

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using the stunning work of Zlata M. This tube was an exlcusive to The PSP Project and is no longer available.

PTU kit Gothic Emily II by Kandii Popz Dezignz. You can purchase this kit here.

Font of choice.

Filters: Xero Porcelain

*To resize your elements, drag them to your canvas and then use the move tool (show transform tools checked) and press shift + drag them to the size you want.

*For applying a mask, you can find a little tutorial here.

Open your template. Set the canvas size to 850 x 600. Now set your image size to 600 x 424. Delete Raster 12.

Let’s add the papers first.

From the bottom layer to the top –

Raster 7 – Paper 7
Raster 6 – Paper 5
Raster 9 – Paper 9

Merge together both Raster 4 layers.

Merged Raster 4 – Paper 10, rotated 90 degrees clockwise.

Merge together both Raster 5 layers.

Merged Raster 5 – Paper 8
Raster 3 – Paper 4
Raster 10 – Paper 5

Now let’s add our elements & remember to resize as necessary:

GlitterSplat – Place to the left, duplicte, flip horizontal & vertical. Merge these two layers together. Move this layer to the bottom.
Fan – place towards the top, behind the merged slats layer.
PocketWatch – Place to the top left
DemonFly – Rotate slightly to the right, then place in the top inside right corner of your top frame.
Bow1 – Place to the top of your pocket watch.
Sparkles1
Ribbon1 – Place to the bottom
Candles – Place to the bottom left
Glass – Place to the bottom right
Cuppy – Place to the left of the glass
Cat – Place to the bottom, on the right side of the candles
Sparkles2 – Place over the middle or to your liking

Open your tube now.

Place your a copy of your tube over the small square layer (the one with the frame). Xero Porcelain with the settings of your choice, blue set to zero. Duplicate this layer, gaussian blur 3. Set the blend mode to Screen, opacity set to 68. On the original layer, set the blend mode to Luminosity, opacity 55.

Add noise to the frame layer, 50, monochrome checked.

Repeat for the other small square layer.

Now place a copy of your tube just below the ribbon layer. Place to your liking. Apply the Xero Porcelain to you tube. Using your eraser, erase any part of the tube that hangs below the ribbon.

Open your mask and apply the mask to Paper 2. Move your masked layer so it is below the glitter splat layer. Transform the mask so it fits onto your canvas better.

Select all, modify, contract by 1. Image, crop.

Add your name, copyrights, and license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice and then merge visible. Save as a PNG.

PTU kit, Delishious Candy, by Kandii Popz Dezignz. You can purchase it here.

A fat font of choice for the main text & a cute font for your name.

Open a new image, 600 x 500.

Open Paper 8 and minimize. In your materials palette, set your background to pattern and choose your paper from the drop-down box.

Type out the word ‘DELICIOUS’. Your font size will vary depending on what font you are using. Convert your text to a raster layer.

Open your 3 tubes and arrange over the text layer. Merge the tubes together when you are satisfied with the placement. Duplicate this layer and set the blend mode to screen. On the original merged layer, set the blend mode to Luminance (L). Lower the opacity of each layer to around 50.

On the text layer, select all, float, defloat. Selections, modify, set selection borders, both sides & anti-alias checked, border width 3.

Open Paper 3. Copy and paste as a new layer above the tube layers. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect.

Open the Glitter. Resize by 75%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move this layer to the bottom.

Open the Sundae. Resize by 95%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place so the top of the sundae is above the text. Now move this layer below the glitter layer.

Open the Scatter. Resize by 65%, sharpen. Copy and paste as a new layer above the text frame layer. Place towards the top of the text.

Open the Lights. Resize by 68%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the top of the text.

Open Bow2. Resize by 55%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the top left of your text.

Open Ribbon2. Resize by 75%, flip horizontal. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom of the text.

Open the CandyFloss. Resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Rotate slightly to the left. Place to the lower left.

Open Cuppy1. Resize by 40%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom right of the floss.

Open the IceLolly2. Resize by 50%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom right.

Open the ChockyHeart. Resize by 40%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom, slightly to the right of the ‘O’ in the text.

Open the Kisspop. Resize by 45%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place between the ice lolly and the chocky heart.

Open the Sweety. Resize by 45%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom left. Duplicate and place to the right.

Open the Cherries. Resize by 40%. Copy and paste as a new layer and place betweet the sweets.

Open Sparkles2. Copy and paste as a new layer.

Add your name, copyrights, & license info.

Apply a drop shadow of choice to your layers, if desired. Merge visible and save as a PNG.

Open your template & mask. Minimize your mask.

On your template, set the canvas size to 800 x 800; delete the credits layer.

For the template layers, replace with the following papers:

Now for the elements:

City – 80% – move just above layer 4, place slightly up to the top
GlitterConfetti – place to the bottom right just above layer 10. Duplicate, flip horizontal, and place to the upper left corner
LightBurst – 90%
StarSpray – flip horizontal, place to the bottom
Pearls – rotate to the left and place to the top of the top two squares so it looks as though the pearls are draped over the top
Heart – 50% – rotate slightly to the right, place to the bottom of the right top square
Lipgloss – 60% – place to the bottom right
Ribbon1 – place to the bottom
Polish – 50% – place to the bottom right
Bow1 – 50% – place to the bottom, rotate slightly to the left
Drink – 80% – place to the bottom left
Shoes – 50% – place slightly to the right of the drink
Sparkles1
StreakOfLight

On the top left square layer, select all, float, defloat. Open your tube and place over this square. Select all, float, defloat. Selections, invert and press delete. Duplicate your tube, gaussian blur 3.00. Set the blend mode to Overlay, opacity 50. On the original tube layer, set the opacity to 65. Repeat for the right square, but mirror your tube.

Copy and paste your tube again, just above the heart layer and place in the center. Take your eraser tool to erase any part of the tube below the ribbon.

Add your name, copyright, and license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice to your layers and merge visible. Resize your tag if you would like it smaller. Save as a PNG.

Font of choice. I am using Daemonesque.

No outside filters.

Open Frame2 & your mask. Minimize your mask for now. On the frame, set the canvas size to 950 x 877. Resize all layers by 63%.

Open Paper10. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move this layer below your frame layer. Apply your mask, merge group. Duplicate the mask layer and merge down.

Open the BloodSplats. Resize by 90%. Copy and paste as a new layer and place to the top of the frame. Duplicate, flip horizontal, flip vertical. Place to the bottom of the frame. Merge the two splats together.

On the frame layer, activate the magic wand tool and click inside the frame. Selections, modify, expand by 10.

Open Paper7. Copy and paste as a new layer just below the frame layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect.

Open the Swag. Copy & paste as a new layer. Place to the top of the inside of the frame. Duplicate, flip vertical and place to the inside bottom of the frame.

On the paper layer (frame background), select all, float, defloat. On the swag layers, selections, invert and press delete. Deselect.

Now for the remaining elements (from bottom to top):

Ribbon1 – 70%, flip vertical, place to top of frame; duplicate, flip vertical, place to bottom of frame

Tube – resize as necessary, place just above the original red ribbon layer and duplicate layer

Veil – 70%, place to right side

Ribbon2 – 70%, place to bottom, behind the red ribbon

Erase any part of your tube that hangs below the ribbons.

Glass – 60%, place to bottom right; move this layer to the top

ThornedHeart – 50%, place to bottom right

SparkleRain – 90%

FlowerRibbon1 – 40%, place to top right corner of frame. Duplicate, place to the left side of frame around the center of that side

Candles – 50%, place to lower right

Spider – 40%, place over the candles

Bat – 50%, rotate slightly to the right

Add your name, copyrights, and license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice to your layers and merge visible. Save as a PNG.

Template – set the canvas size to 650 x 650. Resize all layers by 92%.

Add a new raster layer above the background layer. Floodfill with #1e1e1e. Apply your mask, duplicate the mask layer and merge these 2 layers together. Add noise, Gaussian, 75, monochrome checked.

Delete the credits layer & all the words layers.

Add the following to each template layer:

Layer 11 – Paper3
Layer 10 – Paper9

Layer 8 – floodfill with #e5e5e5
Layer 7 – Paper4
Layer 4, 6 – Paper7
Layer 3, 5 – floodfill with #1e1e1e

Penta Color Dot. Change the value to 75, distance to 10. Be sure to apply to both small square layers.

Layer 1, 2 – floodfill with #da192e

Open your tube. Copy and paste over the left small square and place to your liking. Erase any part of the tube that extends past the edges of the square. Duplicate, gaussian blur 3.00. Set the blend mode to screen, opacity 12. On the original tube layer, set the blend mode to overlay.

Repeat for the right small square, but mirror your tube.

Now for the remaining elements (use my tag as a reference):

Batty – 50%, mirror
Coffin – 50%
Bow2 – 50%, rotate slightly to the left. Duplicate, flip horizontal

Your tube – resize as necessary. Duplicate, gaussian blur using the same settings as before. Set the blend mode to overlay. On the original tube, color, fade correction, 32.

Snake – 50%
Martini – 50%
Book – 50%, flip horizontal
Cat – 60%
Ribbon1 – 69%
SkullString – 50%
Spider – 40%, flip horizontal
Sparkles2
Sparkles1 – 88%

Add your name, copyright, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice. Merge visible and save as a PNG.

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using the art of Popeye Wong, a FTU artist.

PTU kit by Kandii Popz Dezignz called Witchy Ways. This kit is an exclusive for Thrifty Scraps

Open your template & mask. Minimize your mask for now.

On your template, set the canvas size to 800 x 687. Resize all layers by 75%.

Delete the credits & stars layers.

Open Paper10. Copy and paste as a new layer just above the background layer. Apply your mask, merge group.

Merge together the left & right purple stripes. Manual color correction, source #825f7d, target #fef05a.

Penta.com Jeans. Set the amount to 40.

Green strip layer – select all, float, defloat. Open Paper5. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

Left & Right purple circle layers – merge these layers together. Select all, float, defloat. Open Paper8. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

Orange oval layer – select all, float, defloat. Open Paper1. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

Blue strip layer – manual color correction, source #49919d, target #fef05a.

Large green circle layer – select all, float, defloat. Open Paper4. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

Blue oval layer – select all, float, defloat. Open Paper7. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

White rectangle layer – manual color correction, source #ffffff, target #202020.

Purple rectangle layer – select all, float, defloat. Open Paper6. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

Green circle layer – manual color correction, source #a8b041, target #202020.

Open your tube and place over the circle to your liking. On the circle layer, select all, float, defloat. On your tube layer, selections, invert and press delete. Deselect. Gaussian blur, 3.00. Set the blend mode to screen, opacity 44. On the original tube layer, set the blend mode to soft light.

Now to add the elements (from bottom to top):

Cauldron – resize by 50%
Ribbon2 – resize by 69%
WitchyPumpkin – resize by 40%
Goblet – resize by 50%
GlitterConfetti
Snake – resize by 35%
Books – resize by 50%
Cat – resize by 55%
Spider – resize by 40%

Open your tube again, resize if necessary. Copy and paste as a new layer and place to your liking.

Swish

Wordart white layer – manual color correction to the color of your choice. I used a very light grey.

Wordart black layer – repeat the process as you did for the white layer but use a different color.

Merge the wordart layers together.

Add your name, copyright, and a drop shadow of choice to your layers. Merge visible and save as a PNG.
